About Dr. Trenhaile …

As an innovator with extensive knowledge in shoulder, knee and elbow injuries, Dr. Trenhaile has earned a renowned national and international reputation among his peers.  He is frequently sought to give lectures globally at conferences and medical summits on issues related to orthopedic procedures and sports injury management.  Since 2009, groups of surgeons from the United States, Europe, and Asia have traveled to Rockford, Illinois to observe Dr. Trenhaile’s practice and learn his advanced surgical techniques.  The state-of-the-art facilities at OrthoIllinois, including a dedicated cadaver lab and OrthoIllinois Surgery Center, enable him to host a variety of educational events and surgical courses.

Here's what my patients are saying:

Dr. Trenhaile and the OrthoIllinois surgical staff rock.

@Donnewald

48 hours after my knee surgery, and I feel like I can go back to work already. Thanks, Dr. Trenhaile!

Kris T.

First I needed care for my injured right rotator cuff. Then it was a torn right meniscus in my knee. Dr. Trenhaile did a great job with both.

"I was happy to have my problem thoroughly explained to me, but even happier to learn that there was a realistic solution.  His staff was WONDERUFL!" Anonymous review on Vitals.com
