Welcome to OrthoIllinois!
I am originally from Sterling, Illinois and moved to the Rockford area after high school. I obtained my undergraduate degrees in nursing from Rock Valley College and Olivet Nazarene University. I earned my Master’s degree in nursing from the University of Illinois in Chicago and I am a Board Certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
I have been a registered nurse since 1993, a certified registered nurse first assistant since 2000, and an advanced practice nurse since 2013. I have an extensive surgical background specializing in orthopedic surgery, general/vascular surgery, neurosurgery and reconstructive/cosmetic surgery.
In collaboration with Dr. Dansdill, my focus is in Rheumatology, which is the medical treatment of musculoskeletal pain, arthritis, osteoporosis, and autoimmune diseases. It is my mission along with Dr. Dansdill, to provide you excellent service, as well as compassionate care. I will always strive to provide you the same high quality medical care that I would offer to a member of my own family.
In addition to my extensive medical commitments, I enjoy spending time with my family, attending my children’s athletic and school events, chaperoning for my children’s various youth ministries, attending church, participating in various Bible studies, and participating in water sport activities with my family.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to further improve your experience at OrthoIllinois. My goal is to provide you the best medical care available.
