Kelly John, DPM, MHA

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you more about myself and my experience in healthcare. I am originally from Amery, Wisconsin, and I earned my undergraduate degree at the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota. I continued my studies and obtained my Master of Health Administration at Des Moines University- College of Health Sciences and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Des Moines University – College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in 1999.

Following graduation, I completed my podiatric surgical residency at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, and Yale/VA Connecticut Healthcare System in New Haven, Connecticut. I have more than four years of post-graduate residency training in podiatric medicine and surgery, and I joined OrthoIllinois in Spring of 2005.

My practice is focused on foot surgery and podiatric clinical services, with a special interest in revision foot surgery.  I have an additional special interest in the Lapiplasty 3-D Bunion Correction and have attained Center of Excellence designation for this surgical procedure from Treace Medical Concepts, the innovator, for my skill and case history.  It is my mission to provide you excellent service, as well as compassionate care. I always strive to provide you the same high-quality podiatric care that I would offer to a member of my family.  Ortho Illinois holds a commitment to the advancement of medical education and participates with a number of institutions to help train medical students and residents.  As part of your experience today, you may be seen by a podiatry resident.

In addition to my extensive medical commitments, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jeff, and two children. I also enjoy spending time with my dog, biking, and keeping updated on current events.
