Keith Campion, PA-C
I was born and raised in Central New Jersey until high school, when my family relocated to the western suburbs of Chicago where our extended family is from originally. Both places shaped me in unique ways with different perspectives and appreciation for different ways of living.
I completed my physician assistant program at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL, where I received a solid foundation in medical education. My clinical rotations took me throughout central and northern Illinois allowing me to train in various specialties with a wide range of hands-on experiences in diverse healthcare settings.
I pursued a career as a Physician Assistant as a natural progression from my early life experiences as a Boy Scout, which instilled in me a strong philosophy of service to others and my community. I initially became an EMT, working on an ambulance throughout Chicagoland, and later advanced to a Paramedic role in a suburban Chicago emergency room. There, I developed essential skills in providing lifesaving care to those in need. Becoming a Physician Assistant has allowed me to further expand my knowledge and skills, enabling me to make an even greater impact on the patients I serve.
I believe the best care comes from collaboration between the healthcare team and the patient. I take the time to listen to each patient’s concerns, provide the necessary information to help them understand their condition, and foster a partnership where they feel supported and involved in their treatment plan. The overall goal is to provide personalized care that aligns with each patient’s unique needs, ensuring they feel confident and engaged on their path to better health.
