About
For over 50 years, OrthoIllinois has been dedicated to restoring movement and enriching lives in northern Illinois. As a division of OrthoMidwest, we’ve evolved into a leading force in orthopedic care – not just treating bones and joints, but specializing in *exactly* where your pain originates, from neck to toes.
What sets us apart? A commitment to advanced expertise. At OrthoIllinois, you won’t see a general orthopedist; you’ll be cared for by a board-certified physician with sub-specialty training focused on a specific area – whether it’s hand and wrist surgery, spine care, foot & ankle reconstruction, hip and knee replacement, knee or shoulder injury, rheumatological conditions, or pain management. This means your condition is evaluated and treated by a doctor who has dedicated years to mastering the intricacies of that specific body part. This focused expertise leads to more accurate diagnoses, innovative treatment plans, and ultimately, better outcomes. We are committed to providing our patients with access to the latest advancements in bone and joint care, from minimally invasive techniques to cutting-edge regenerative therapies.
We believe in comprehensive, convenient care delivered across our six locations throughout northern Illinois. From diagnosis and advanced imaging to clinical treatment and rehabilitation therapy, everything is streamlined under one roof, guided by leading experts.
OrthoIllinois isn’t just about fixing problems; it’s about regaining your active lifestyle. Recognized for exceptional patient experience by Press Ganey and featured in Castle Connolly Top Doctors listings, we deliver university-quality care with a personal touch – focused on getting you back to pain-free living.

We’re dedicated to the continuous advancement of healthcare. Our physicians serve as innovators in technology as well as actively participate in national and international research studies. Our physicians are similarly dedicated to the medical education of students and residents and are affiliated with the University of Illinois College of Medicine as clinical assistant/associate professors, and the Rush University Medical Center Residency Program as site training facilitators. Advanced surgical technique is shared with other orthopedic specialists by our physicians, who serve as guest instructors at national and international conferences. Additionally, we host surgeons from around the globe to observe technique from our ambulatory surgery center and for hands-on training in our wet lab in Rockford.
