Scott Ferry, MD
Dr. Scott Ferry, MD, is an accomplished orthopedic surgeon at OrthoIllinois, a division of OrthoMidwest, originally from Rockford, Illinois. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in bioengineering, with a minor in chemistry, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1998. He continued his education at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford, graduating with honors in 2002.
Upon completing medical school, Dr. Ferry pursued further training through an internship and advanced orthopedic surgical residency at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, further enhancing his expertise in this subspecialty.
Dr. Ferry’s practice is dedicated to providing specialized healthcare to children and teens with orthopedic conditions resulting from traumatic injuries, congenital deformities, and neuromuscular conditions. In addition to his pediatric focus, he offers general orthopedic care for adults. He has particular interests in sports injuries, pediatric fracture care, congenital deformities, clubfeet, and pediatric hip and foot conditions.
Dr. Ferry strives to ensure that every patient at OrthoIllinois receives the best available medical care in a comfortable and nurturing environment. He is committed to continually improving the patient experience and welcomes feedback to help achieve this goal.
