Scott Ferry, MD
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you more about myself and my experience in healthcare. I am originally from Rockford, Illinois and I earned my B.S. degree in bioengineering with a chemistry minor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1998. I continued my studies at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford, graduating with honors in 2002.
Following my graduation, I completed an internship and pursued advanced orthopedic training as part of my surgical residency at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, N.C.. In addition, I completed another year at a subspecialty training program, or fellowship, in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
My practice is focused on providing specialized health care to children and teens who have orthopedic conditions resulting from traumatic injuries, congenital deformities, and neuromuscular conditions, as well as general orthopedic care for adults. I have a special interest in sports injuries, pediatric fracture care, congenital deformities, clubfeet, pediatric hip and foot conditions.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to further improve your experience at Ortho Illinois. My goal is to provide you the best medical care available in a comfortable, nurturing environment.
I am looking forward to meeting you.

Dr. Ferry and PA John Moore are outstanding.
Dr Ferry is very personable
Dr Ferry is amazing, listens so well and shows he cares.
I will definately recommend Ortho Illinois to others and come back myself if needed.
Dr Ferry was great. He talked to my son not just me so my son felt comfortable.
We just love Dr Ferry! My shy son always feels so comfortable. :)
Dr. Ferry and John are always very thorough and good with my daughter. I feel like they treat her like they would treat one of their own children.
Loved Dr. Ferry. He did so well with my 4 year old son after he broke his leg.
I apprecitated Dr. Ferry's careful choice of words so as to not upset my son who did not want to hear about his treament.
The whole experience of my son breaking his arm and the recover process was very scary and unknown. Dr. Ferry was super nice in explaining things and taking the time to calm all of us down. He was very knowledgeable. As we had tried another clinic before yours and they said they didn't know how to treat my son's arm, this was very comforting.
I have already recommended the facility to others.
Dr. Raju, Dr. Ferry, and Cast Tech Dave were top notch and friendly!
We see Dr. Ferry for my son's clubfoot. He is very knowledgeable. We see him currently every 4 months. He never rushes our time. Any questions I ask, he takes his time to explain in a way we understand.
Dr. Ferry was awesome! He answered all our questions in a way that could be understood by me as a parent and my daughter as the patient.
Explained everything in detail and made my daughter enjoy the experience as much as possible
