Edric Schwartz, MD
Dr. Edric Schwartz, MD, is a board-certified physician at OrthoIllinois, a division of OrthoMidwest. Originally from Lombard, Illinois, Dr. Schwartz earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana in 1998. He continued his academic journey at the University of Illinois in Chicago, where he obtained his medical degree in 2002.
Following medical school, Dr. Schwartz completed his internship and advanced orthopedic residency training at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. He further specialized by completing a fellowship in hand surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Dr. Schwartz’s clinical practice is dedicated to the treatment of diseases and disorders of the hand and upper extremity. He is committed to providing exceptional service and compassionate care to all his patients, consistently striving to deliver the highest quality orthopedic care.
Active in ongoing medical education, Dr. Schwartz has presented at numerous lectures, delivered presentations, and authored an orthopedic research publication. He remains engaged in the latest developments in his field to ensure his patients receive state-of-the-art care.
Outside his medical practice, Dr. Schwartz enjoys weightlifting, jogging, tennis, and golf. His personal interests complement his professional dedication to health and wellness.
