Ryan Enke, MD

Dr. Ryan Enke, MD, is a dedicated healthcare professional originally from Rockford, Illinois. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point in 2001. Dr. Enke continued his education at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, where he obtained his medical degree in 2005.

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Enke completed an internship at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, Ohio. He subsequently undertook his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. Enke’s medical practice at OrthoIllinois, a Division of OrthoMidwest, focuses on providing specialized non-operative treatment and rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injuries and pain, with the overarching goals of restoring function and improving patients’ quality of life. He has a particular interest in the treatment and rehabilitation of runners and endurance athletes, electrodiagnostic medicine (EMGs), and comprehensive spine care and rehabilitation, including interventional pain management. Dr. Enke frequently utilizes advanced ultrasound guidance to ensure precision and effectiveness in joint and soft tissue injections for pain management.

He is dedicated to offering the same high standard of orthopedic care that he would provide to his own family members, always aiming to create a comfortable and nurturing environment for those he serves.

Outside of his medical responsibilities, Dr. Enke enjoys running, camping, hiking, outdoor activities, traveling, and spending quality time with his family.
