Like the title says, today is World Osteoporosis Day, and the International Osteoporosis Foundation has put together some great resources to learn more about Osteoporosis.

This year, the theme of World Osteoporosis Day is “Serve Up Bone Strength.” A healthy diet is essential for everyone, but it’s particularly important for those suffering from osteoporosis because there are approximately 8.9 million fractures each year due to osteoporosis.

A good diet and exercise can help prevent fractures by keeping your bones strong!

Check out all the resources available to you, and if you have questions about osteoporosis, leave a comment or get in touch with us at 815-398-9491.

And there’s so much more! Check out World Osteoporosis Day’s website for more info!
