OrthoIllinois Welcomes New Hand Surgeon to Algonquin and Elgin Clinics

ALGONQUIN, Ill. (March 1, 2019) – OrthoIllinois, a leading bone and joint health care provider in northern Illinois, recently welcomed hand surgeon Debdut Biswas, MD to its subspecialized orthopedic medical team.

Biswas is seeing patients at two OrthoIllinois locations, 650 S. Randall Road in Algonquin and 1435 N. Randall Road, Suite 103 in Elgin. His practice offers the full spectrum of surgical services for hands, wrists and elbows. Conditions he regularly treats include carpal tunnel syndrome, golf/tennis elbow, nerve problems, sprains and strains, fractures, osteoarthritis of the hand, and tendon and ligament injuries.

A native of northeast Ohio, Biswas completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University and earned his medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Rush University Medical Center and subspecialty fellowship training in hand and microvascular surgery at the University of Washington and Harborview Medical Center.
